Grandmother (and Great-Grandmother)-Granddaughter Tea.
Equinox Village is excited to host this fancy holiday tea again this year. Grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and granddaughters are invited to don their gay apparel and come to the Equinox Village dining room for tea (and hot chocolate), tea sandwiches, tea cookies, and a holiday story read by Mark Skinner Library’s Youth Services Librarian Janet Kleinberg. This event is free and open to the public. Kindly contact the Equinox Village front desk at (802) 362-4061 to make a reservation.

The Night Before Christmas A Free Holiday Event for All
Gather together to listen and experience Clement C. Moore’s wondrous world as never before…One of the world’s favorite musical groups Peter and Paul, of Peter, Paul, and Mary, present America’s most-loved holiday poem in their beautiful book, The Night Before Christmas, stunningly set to music. Peter and Paul will read and perform as well as sign copies.

Saturday, December 3 at 8 pm
The Northshire Bookstore and the Equinox Resort are proud to present the legendary singers Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey for an evening concert to benefit two worthy causes: Music2Life, Harnessing the contemporary power of music for change through technology, documentaries and community action and the Book Angels Program, Giving the gift of reading to area children. Tickets are $45.00 and include a copy of The Night Before Christmas (Doors open at 7:40 pm)

VIP tickets are $65.00 and include a 6:30 pm pre-concert meet & greet with Peter and Paul, a copy of The Night Before Christmas, preferential seating, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

December 10th: German style Christmas Market on December 10th, 2011 from 11AM until 4PM. Christmas shopping at the Windham Hill Inn with local vendors and artists. The Windham Hill restaurant will be open for lunch from 12noon until 3PM. An event not to miss!!

Events at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home
Enjoy a 1912 Victorian Christmas at the Lincoln Family Home where the mansion will be dressed throughout the month of December as the Lincolns might have decorated it when they stayed at Hildene through the holidays in 1912.

On December 3 & 4 the Hildene Museum Store dressed in holiday finery welcomes Neighbors & New Friends to a special shopping experience with apple cider, Vermont tastings and fresh cider doughnuts.
