The exhibits will be open to symposium registrants as well as the general public on Saturday, April 5 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The profit from these exhibit tables will go to the Vermont Association of Professional Horticulturists for their educational programs and services for Vermont residents. The First Annual Manchester and the Mountains Literary Weekend: "Inspiring Creative Dialogues Among Emerging Writers and Poets" April 25 - 27, 2008
Emerging writers of all ages are urged to save the date to attend a weekend gathering designed to nurture creativity and share ideas that move the writer from pen to print. Contact Beth Meachem at 362-6313 ext. 15 or email bmeachem@manchesterchamber.net Sponsored by the Greater Manchester Arts Council (GMAC) and The Manchester and the Mountains Regional Chamber in collaboration with area organizations and businesses, this Literary Weekend will bring wordsmiths and other lovers of the written word to the historic Manchester area for a weekend of sharing, collaboration, and learning. With the Green Mountains as an inspirational backdrop, attendees will learn from professional writers, poets, agents, book publishers, and each other in intimate workshops and interactive discussion sessions. Literary partners include the Northshire Bookstore, Tupelo Press, The Mountain Goat, Fox Communication, and other local businesses. This event will take place throughout the Manchester community.
