I don't want to wait any longer to tell you what a WONDERFUL time we had in Arlington last weekend! It was a lovely, heartwarming weekend from beginning to end, and we thank you for ALL you did to give everyone such a comfortable and enjoyable time! . . . We loved the touring around - Hildene, the marble quarry, Norman Rockwell's house, etc., as well as the sharing of delicious meals . . . Thank you again for EVERYTHING!

It was a most unique family occasion, and your hospitality made it flow effortlessly. The food was wonderful . . . the breakfasts and the poached salmon - what a treat. But what was best was the hospitality . . . The whole weekend was clouds and sun and spritzles of rain, but never interfered with our getting about. . . bought fresh-made raspberry apple & peach pies; I could escape like this every month. Fantastic time, relaxing . . . doing nothing other than enjoying each other’s company . . . hiking Lyebrook Falls, tasting wines at North River Winery, the Chocolate Barn . . What can we say—it was perfect. For a family of four with 2 children we could not have chosen better. Although it is a long hike from Arizona – we hope we can make it back someday soon. Ron & Anne, We had a wonderful time in Manchester. We completely enjoyed your cottage. It’s so comfortable & the grounds are beautiful. The kids had a great time on the rides at Bromley Mountain. It was fate that we found the Hideaway Cottage on-line…it has been the perfect refuge for 4 moms in need of our own vacation. The cozy, “home” feel of the cottage, pretty gardens, and the personal touches all around the cottage made us feel like it was made for us. The “James Herriot’s Yorkshire” in the bookshelf on the porch even brought back childhood memories of home for Annabel. We enjoyed the creative sandwich combinations at the Rooster Café and having dinner delivered in from Christos. Shopping was fun, but we valued the un-interrupted peace and time for our “girl talk”. Our long weekend away has left us longing for more time to spend away from the hustle & bustle of our everyday lives.
